Bust the dust
There have been numerous fundraising activities been going on during the drought that have all helped ease the pain being felt by drought affected communities.
A school in Trangie though have put the call out across the state to get everyone to perform a rain-dance to help Bust the Dust, and St Joseph's CPS are joining in.
The date set down is Friday December 13 and what better way is there to bring a bit of cheer as we head into a difficult dry festive season.
Millthorpe Markets
The annual Christmas Millthorpe Markets are only just over a week away and the school is getting ready for a massive market.
The Christmas markets are just one of the two markets held every year with shoppers always on the look out for that unique gift.
Everything from clothing, jewellery, toys, arts and crafts, woodwork, second hand goods, gourmet and fresh produce, cake stalls, plants and Christmas decorations are available.
The markets commence at 8.30 on Sunday December 1.
Pamper packs
St Joseph's CPS has hopped on board with the Ladies of the Land NSW to be the Blayney drop off point for pamper packages.
Simply pack a shoe-box sized box full of new goodies and drop them off to the school.
These pamper packages will be distributed to women across the state in drought affected areas.
