The brothers live together, own a business together and play cricket together, whether that be for Rugby Union in the Bathurst-Orange Inter-District Cricket competition or for Bathurst in the Western Zone Premier League.
Now they'll have the chance to line up together in Western Zone's McDonald's Country Cricket NSW Championship Southern Pool campaign at Goulburn, which kicks off on Friday morning against Illawarra.
The elder Qureshi, Jameel, will lead the side and he while admitted it was somewhat of a surprise to see Imran named as well having the opportunity to play together at this level is one he's champing at the bit to take.
"I'm really looking forward to playing with him. We do everything together," he said.
While Qureshi, who's regularly given the nod to lead representative sides across Bathurst and the region, hasn't actually played in Western Zone colours since 2012-13.
He said while he's also 'had a lot on' with work and family and just generally hasn't had the time to make himself available, he wanted to give others across the region a crack.
"I sort of didn't want to take someone else's spot, it was such a big catchment area and there were plenty of other more young talented guys I thought should play," he said.
"They came back this year and asked me to do more of a mentoring role and I wanted to come on board and help some of the younger guys."
One cricketer Qureshi is unlikely to need to spend much time mentoring is now-Kinross bat James Larkin.
The Qureshi and Larkin families have a long history of playing with and against each other over the past decade with Jameel playing against James' eldest brother Ben and with middle brother Nick - the latter of whom is playing for NSW - across the state.
"They're a good family, good people," Qureshi said.
"I've played with and against Ben and Nick in Sydney but never with James until the Wranglers a few weeks ago."
Larkin's started his cricketing life in the west in fine form with a ton over the weekend for Kinross and strong knocks for the Wranglers, but Qureshi said that strength runs through the whole squad.
After taking on Illawarra on Friday, Western clash with ACT-Southern Districts on Saturday and finish the carnival against Riverina on Sunday.
All four sides are gunning for a spot in the decider against Newcastle.
