The climb takes place in November and will see the duo, who are from Blayney's Fire and Rescue NSW station, scale 98 floors worth of stairs or 1504 individual steps clad in full fire gear.
Initially with a fundraising goal of $3000, Ms Dixon and Mr Hamilton have more than tripled their goal and have just crossed the $10,000 fundraising mark.

The pair were fundraising at the Carcoar Show over the weekend and Ms Dixon said she was blown away by the support of the community.
"It's mind-blowing and unbelievable but at the same time it is kind of believable because it's just such a generous community," she said.
"We kind of hoped at the start but it was always a pipe-dream.
"It's very emotional and humbling, very hard to explain the feeling [when it crossed the $10,000 mark], there was a lot of admiration for the community."
Ms Dixon wanted to thank friends, family - close and extended, including those at the station - as well as the community in general for helping the pair raise as much money as they have.
"We'll keep going, I've got a friendly bet with Adam that if we get to $15,000 he has to do it again next year," she said.
