This match was on Saturday, September 7 in Orange and our girls played like a well-oiled machine to come away with a 4-1 victory.
This set the team up for a show down against Cyms Vic's to play off for a spot in the Grand Final.
On Sunday, September 15 at 12.30pm our team of 17 very nervous players showed up for a battle.
Vic's got off to an early lead scoring in the first ten minutes, this stunned the Blayney girls but to their credit, they kept persisting and were rewarded with a goal from our number one goal scorer Vicki Davies.
The game swung from end to end and at full time the score was locked at one all.
This meant the teams had to swap ends and play ten minutes extra time, with no score we changed ends again and after another ten minutes the score was still tied at 1-1.
After an extra five more minutes each way the score was locked at 1-1 and the refs blew full time rewarding the game to Vic's on a count-back of the ladder.
This was a very disappointing way to lose but the girls can hold their heads high after an unbelievable effort and a great season to look back on!
