But for our first one, we will include a little about ourselves.
We started out as an association in October 2014 and adopted a statement of objectives: to promote and enhance the township of Blayney to assist its beautification, economic growth and favourable lifestyle.
We are a key body that Blayney Shire Council consults with regarding the priority list and funding for the roll out of the ten-year Village Enhancement Plan.
Committee members are volunteers and we're interested in improving Blayney and running events here.
We are always looking for like minded people who are also interested in being involved in making Blayney Better.
This Saturday, as an example, there will be a workshop held to look at the idea of turning the Blayney Railway stationing into a permanent art gallery, studio space, workshop venue, art/craft retail space etc.
Our Textures of One committee, who are a subcommittee of our Town Association are asking everyone to come along and help to discuss how we can make this work.
The workshop is from 9.30am- 12.30pm at the Community Centre this Saturday and everyone is welcome, even for a short time if time permits.
Other interesting news is the St James Parish Blayney is looking to build a community garden.
They are proposing to build the garden near the St Josephs School and would see the site go through a regeneration and rehabilitation process with community engagement.
This will be a wonderful opportunity for those who have a love of gardening but possibly don't know how, don't have space of their own, or are simply looking for a social outing with others.
