Even in this age of instant access to information through the internet, the role of the library is still as important as it's ever been.
Blayney library may only be small compared to some of its sister libraries in other towns in the Central West Library network, but its certainly going to be looking much fresher when it re-opens on the 13th of June.
Originally slated to be opened on the 3rd of June, the staff at the library are now unpacking the boxes and re-stacking the shelves in readiness for the 13th.
Manager of CWL Jan Richards said that the building's interior will be absolutely delightful.
"There's new carpet, the walls have been painted and there are new shelves that are allowing us to create a new layout," she said.
"The area that once held the Viv Kable collection will now be a reference area."
