That's the message to volunteers in Blayney and the surrounding villages during National Volunteer Week this week, according to the ever-busy Loretta Kervin.
Mrs Kervin volunteers at the Visitor Information Centre, Textures of One, Barry Probus and much more, including working with the various groups trying to make the railway station a new art space.
She said the hundreds of volunteers across the shire do "amazing" jobs.
However, she said there was always a need for people to lend a hand.
"There's always a need for volunteers. A lot of us in the volunteer centre are in or getting towards our 80s," she said.
She said she'd love to see some younger volunteer step up to the plate, but knew it could be a challenge.
"A lot of people are working or have kids and don't have as much time, I suppose if they have the time it's always good," she said.
However, those that find the time reap the rewards.
You always get more out than you put in.
"I'm not working and enjoy meeting new people, at the visitors information centre I love meeting people travelling through and hearing their stories," Mrs Kervin said.
"No matter how much you put in, you always get more out than you put in."
National volunteer week runs from May 20-27, recognising the hard work volunteers in communities across the country provide.
