Ten locations across Blayney Shire Council and the surrounds will be open as polling booths in this weekend's federal election.

There are plenty of chances to duck down and vote while also partaking in the most sacred of election traditions - a democracy sausage sandwich or bacon and egg roll at the polling booth.

Polling booths in the Blayney area - like all voting booths - are open from 8am to 6pm sharp and are located at:

  • Spring Hill Public School
  • Spring Terrace Public School

Pre-polling for is available in Bathurst and Orange, with Bathurst pre-polling at 250 Howick Street and Orange at 121-125 Moulder Street, with times varying.

Voting is mandatory for every Australian citizen over the age of 18.
