This Saturday, March 23, the 141st Blayney Show will be officially opened at 1pm by Michael Millner, cattle chairman at the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales.
Secretary of the Blayney A & P Association (Blayney Show Society) Helen Burton said many dedicated volunteers have been working tirelessly to ready for the annual event, which will have lots to see and do for the whole family.
One of the day's highlights will be in the ring.
"We have a full horse ring going all day, with seven sections. They commence at 8.30am," Mrs Burton said. "And, excitingly, after the ring events finish we have a few exhibition harness races on - it's the first time that has happened in 23 years - thanks to the Blayney Harness Racing Club."

There will also be the championship dog show, the wood chopping competition returns again this year and there will be many market stalls for people to wander through.
"The market stalls will be under cover and will be selling bric-a-brac, clothing, sauces, jams - really just about anything," she said.
One of the biggest hits is always the Friendship Farm where children can get up close with all sorts of animals like ducks, chooks, puppies, goats and piglets.
The Pet Dog Show will capture people's attention at 11am when regular four-legged friends go through their paces in a range of categories including obedience, most like owner, tallest/shortest and best trick.
A day at the Blayney Show will also include great food, and plenty of entertainment for the children.
And, after the official duties have been completed, the Miss Showgirl 2019 will be announced, when outgoing showgirl Tamara Bransgrove will wrap up her year in the role and hand over to the new ambassador.
