That hasn't stopped the creative juices of our local hay bale artisans though from flexing their creative spirits, in fact it inspired a win.
The winners this year have been one of the most regular entrants.
Titled "The Last Hay Bale in Barry" the creation is by the Barry Progress Association.
Second place went to The Lighthouse by the Allen family and third place went to St Joseph's for their SJS Rocking Coding display.
The displays will be up until the 24th of March when they'll no doubt be used for feed.
Voting for the people's choice is now available via the Blayney Council website.
