With a big season on offer in the seniors, it's the juniors that are the proving ground for the seniors competition.
With group sports of all kinds showing to have significant fitness and social benefits for boys and girls, a regular run around King George Oval, and the opportunity to compete against sides from other towns, beats the hell out of mindlessly gazing into a tablet or phone.
This Sunday the junior's club is having their sign-on day at King George Oval and the club is throwing in some skills sessions for the young players.

Senior Bears players of all grades, including the league tag, will be in attendance to help with the training.
A day at the footy is not the same without a sausage sanga and the chance to wear the team colours with some merchandise. This Sunday there will be a chance to acquire both. The sausage sangas are free.
The sign-on begins at 2pm on Sunday March 10 at King George.
