The first week of beginners to level 5 lessons are almost over but there are still openings for the second and third week. 

Monday January 14 is the beginning of the second week of lessons and a full week is only $83.

Squad, including transition, mini and senior levels, are also on next week from 7am to 8am. Cost is $56.

Parkes based mosaic artist Susan M Maddison is returning to Millthorpe for another exhibition at the May Raechelle Art Gallery on Pym Street.

This is Susan’s third tenure as guest artist for the gallery’s bi-monthly Rural Artist Exhibition.

Susan has a great imagination for mosaic artwork design and loves nothing better than rummaging through a garage sale or recycle recover centre for her materials.

“My unique style is a combination of influences spanning nature, mythology and Pablo Picasso,” she said.

“All pieces are handmade using ceramic tiles, stained glass, mirror and china.”

Susan’s works will be on display and available for sale at May Raechelle Art Gallery, 10 Pym St Millthorpe from Thursday 2 January to Sunday 24 February 2019.

The BreastScreen mobile van is coming to Blayney and appointments are now open.

The van will be conveniently located behind the community centre at 41 Church St and will be offering free mammograms from January 24 to February 7.
