This year the competition is expanding with a special Christmas ornament competition beginning.
All you have to do is create an ornament that is no larger than 15 centimetres high and wide and can be hung from the tree.
There is a limit of one ornament per person and they have to be clearly marked with the entrants name.
The tree is situated in the foyer of Blayney Shire Council and there are prizes to be won.
Entries for the ornament competition close on Tuesday December 18.
The Bright Lights competition is back again with $6000 in shopping vouchers at Bernardi’s Marketplace up for grabs.
Entries close on Monday the 17th of December and the difficult job of judging will be taking place on Tuesday December 18.
