The Zone Dressage School, held on Saturday, was attended by 18 riders from Carcoar, Orange, Bathurst and Cudal Pony Clubs.
Riders each had three small group lessons with NSW State Pony Club Dressage coach Sarah Venamore.
It was valuable school for riders to advance their skills at a local location building Pony Club rider skills in the region.
Sarah enjoyed her visit to Blayney and was impressed with the local rider's determination to work at new skills. The Zone is hopeful of hosting other Schools in the region in 2019.
On Sunday, the Carcoar and Districts Rally Day was also a fabulous opportunity for our local riders.
Liz Oatley and Rainer Nist, parents of Kristy Oatley-Nist Australian Olympian Equestrian rider as well as both accomplished Equestrian riders themselves, instructing at the Rally Day.
Liz shared her valuable knowledge and skills working with our riders with their flat work. Rainer, as a mounted instructor, put our riders thru their paces on the cross country course.
Wonderful opportunity to have instructors of their calibre at our local Club.
Supported by our ever valuable regular local instructors John Kinghorn, Ainslie Wright and Sue Wark, who instruct at our monthly Rally Days throughout the year.
