Organiser Adam Hornby said the event, which has become an annual one in Blayney, will be held at a later date in the year.
The 2017 carnival was won by the Blayney Rams side at Napier Oval, but Blayney’s main field at King George Oval had been slated as the venue for the 2018 event, such is the popularity of the gala day.
A full day’s worth of matches were scheduled for Saturday, November 10 but a new date for the carnival will be confirmed later this month.
