This year we’re going to be hosting the matches at King George Oval
- Adam Hornby
Won by the Blayney Rams in 2017, this year organiser Adam Hornby said that the matches won’t be played at Napier Oval.
“This year we’re going to be hosting the matches at King George Oval,” he said.
Hornby added that the full facilities of the ground would be open.
“The pitch is going to be magnificent and we’ll also have full bar and barbecue facilities available,” he said.
The competition has been running for over 20 years and although the players have changed, one thing hasn’t.
“It’s still $10 per player, which is $70 per team, and that hasn’t changed,” Hornby said.
The match is scheduled for Saturday November 10 and although registrations are available up until the day, it’s preferred that they’re booked beforehand by calling into the Royal Hotel or calling Adam Hornby on 0428 022 533.
The first ball will be bowled at 8.30.
