The community is invited to attend the annual Health Expo at the Blayney Multipurpose Service on Wednesday October 18 between 11 am and 2 pm.

Nurse Manager, Deborah Higgs said, “There will be stalls from various organisations that provide services to the Blayney Shire community who will explain what services they offer,

“Amongst the organisations attending are LiveBetter community transport, LiveBetter respite centre, Lifeline central west, Mission Australia, My Health Record, and Community Legal Centre”.

“We’ll also be offering free health checks which include blood pressure checks and blood sugar tests”.

“We urge all of our community members to come along and find out what services are available to you and how we can help you or your loved ones improve your heath”.

Blayney Primary Spring Fair

Blayney Public School are holding their Spring Fair on Friday October 19 and it’s going to be a load of fun for all the family.

Water slides, Bungee run, Sumo suits and of course a jumping castle are all part of the fun and games that are being organised.

It runs from 4 pm to 7 pm and there will be loads to eat, a mini market and entry is by gold coin donation.

St Mark’s Anglican Spring Fair

What could be more wonderful than a Spring Fair on a sunny day in the idyllic village of Millthorpe?

Picking-up home-made cakes, preservatives, locally-grown plants and unique trash-and-treasure at this iconic annual event on Saturday, October 13, that’s what!

St Marks Anglican Church have for the first time moved their traditional spring fair to a more centrally-located green in the beautiful historic village on the corner of Elliott and Victoria Streets.

​This special event running from 9.30–2.30pm is an essential fund-raiser for the local Blayney Parish.

Trunkey Creek Show October 13

Despite the drought the 36th Trunkey Creek Wool and Horse show is happening on Saturday October 13, 9am to 5pm.

There will be  yard dog trials, quick shear, dog high jump, horse events along with many other attractions.
