Relative newcomers to the markets, the Salami Man and Franklin Road Preserves will be back with their delectable tables of locally produced foods.
There will also be local sweet treats from Dapper chocolates, treats for your dogs from Pamper Paws, coffee from Nellie Ryan’s and some top shaving products from Whispers from the Woods.
One of the most popular stalls at the markets is Farmer Doug’s Gourmet Potatoes.
Doug Dagg has been selling his spuds for four years at the markets and he is back again with some wonderful produce.
Forget the Sebago, Farmer Doug has a myriad of interesting varieties that take the spud lovers amongst us on a tasting tour around the world.
The varieties he will have this week include,
Jacklyn - great for roasting, baking, chips, wedges and gnocchi.
Elizabeth’s Choice - with its pure white flesh and thin skin it is excellent for baking, boiling and mashing.
Midnight Pearl - a Peruvian potato, purple in colour and full of antioxidants - bake, boil or mash.
