The precinct plans were approved by Blayney Council’s heritage advisor.
Brickwork on the rotunda has been restored, a gravelled square in which the rotunda sits has been edged, new lawn laid between the rotunda and the western fence, and new shrubs and small trees have been planted.
The surrounds of the rotunda have recently been planted out by nick with nandinas and magnolias.
This excellent work has been carried out by Tony Wise and Nick Anagnostaras.
Club Millthorpe
Friday Night Live on September 7, led by Genni Kane and Jon Wilby, was a stand-out night.
In a spontaneous gesture of true village spirit, the band decided to busk for our farmers, playing requests and raising money to donate to the ‘buy-a-bale’ fund-raising initiative.
Exceeding all expectations, the night raised $552.55 whilst entertaining locals and visitors immensely.
