Currently, the entire state has been declared in drought with many farmers struggling to feed stock and others facing failing crops.
Her week-long tour of drought-affected regions has highlighted the struggles farmers are facing.
The broadcast commenced at 5.30am at Bathurst Goldfields and Ms Bartholomew interviewed Rural Aid founders Charles and Tracy Alder during her most recent live cross.
Fairfax Media understands that Rural Aid ambassadors Grant and Chezzi Denyer, who live in Perthville just outside Bathurst, will be on the show later during this morning’s 3.5 hour broadcast.
Meanwhile, the Rural-Aid fundraiser – Black Tie and Boots Ball – to be held at Bathurst Goldfields Saturday evening has sold out.
The Denyers, with the support of Macquarie Medi Spa and Hynash, gave away 10 double passes to the event and the winners were announced earlier this week.
