Those special dishes are the core of what’s called comfort food, those dishes that give you a relaxing inner warmth and fill you with nostalgia.
On Thursday July 26 at 2pm, Blayney Library will be host to Jacqui Newling, resident gastronomer at Sydney Living Museums.
Those interested in the role of food in our community will enjoy Ms Newling’s talk about the rich legacies of family recipes, cookbooks and food stories, and their role in reviving lost or forgotten tastes and culinary arts.
Guests are invited to bring along a cookbook or recipe from their own family to share and discuss.
For bookings call the Library on 6368 2581.
