They’re not going simply to enjoy ‘the worlds’ though, they’ll all be participating in a four day hospitality training school.
Sea World Resort’s H.O.T.E.L School allows students to experience first-hand the operations and skills required to work in a four star hotel environment.
Hospitality head teacher Lisa Stevens said that the students will be fully immersed into the operations of a large hotel.
“They will have hands on experience in all the aspects of running a hotel from working in the kitchen to being a concierge,” she said.
Blayney Rotary member Bill Burdett said that the students are continuing to raise money to lower the cost of the excursion in early September.
“Rotary pay them market rates for catering for every second dinner,” he said.
“And they do a darn good job too.”
