As the weather cools, the mind drifts to idle weekends in front of the fire with a warm beverage and a good book in hand.

And there are loads of good books to be found at the Blayney Anglican Parish Book Fair.

With boxes of books still being delivered, organiser volunteers been busy sorting through the titles, ready for the big day.

With the B2B running this Sunday the team have decided to open the doors for a few hours on each Sunday morning, as a bit of an experiment.

“You never know what will happen with all the extra people in town,” organiser Elizabeth Russ said.

Not only will there be books for sale, but also there will be a trading table with loads of home made goodies available.

Last year a man from Mudgee was so impressed with the raspberry jam he bought he went to great lengths to find out the maker and order some more.
