Home decor and clothing store Eclectic, run by Melanie Fenton and Kerryn Westgeest in Anson Street, is to open a second outlet in Millthorpe.
Mrs Fenton said the new store would be in the corrugated iron and timber-themed building formerly occupied by Tomolly.
“It’s probably something we’ve wanted to do for a while,” she said.
“And the perfect space became available.”
She said Millthorpe offered plenty of potential.
“There’s room to grow there,” she said.
Mrs Fenton said the tourism potential and the prospect of the railway station reopening next year made it an exciting venture.
She said they had been open in Orange for about four years.
The Millthorpe store is set to open on Easter Saturday, March 31.
