From scones and sewing to tractors and trucks, the show is the place for locals to display their skills and keep the tradition of country life alive.
For all the rev heads out there get your engines pumping as the famous U-Beaut-Ute competition is back in force this year.
Categories include:
- Best B&S ute
- Best classic ute
- Best chicks ute
- Best chicks B&S ute
- Best street ute
- Best 4x4 ute
- Best tradies/work ute
- The rankest rig and
- Best of the best Blayney Show 2018 Grand Champion Ute
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd are on offer and entry will be between 8am and 10.30am. For more information contact Alicia on 0418511134.
The heritage tractors, trucks and machinery will also make a return with judging categories for best restored tractor in working order, best unrestored tractor, and judge’s choice of best machinery, best restored truck and most original truck. With the amount of beauty showcased by our local region it’s not hard to see why the photography competition is growing bigger every year.
There are some great prizes to be won.
Categories include colour photo categories; open, sunset/sunrise, flowers, animals, a touch of blue, and the beach.
Open black and white photo categories include; open, scenes of Blayney, and portrait/people. Junior section prints 10cm x 15cm max include two categories for under 15 years of age - at play and open.

Don’t forget to catch all the action of the Miss Showgirl Competition this year – and if anyone is interested in joining in the fun and prestige of the competition, entries are still being taken.
