The newly named Bathurst Cycling Classic incorporates several events across two days; Criterium Racing, Hill Climb Championships and the much anticipated Blayney to Bathurst (B2B).
But the UCI Gran Fondo World Series qualifier race isn’t just for the Lycra wearing, waxed legged, carbon fibre riding professional riders, it’s open to riders of all shapes and sizes to take on the challenge of the 110 kilometre long course, and now there’s even an app to help get fit.
Dedicated To Fitness (D2F) has developed the official 2018 Blayney 2 Bathurst Training Program, to give all riders the opportunity to follow a training program that ensures they will be prepared for the B2B race.
The program is based on the experience of the novice riders from those that are new to riding long distances, to those that ride over 35km three or four times a week.
