With all sorts of stalls to browse, hot food starting from kick-off until finish, an art show and sale by the Newbridge Art Group are all part of the activities organised.
Newbridge has the Olde Bridge Gallery run by David Lake and Wendy Smith.
The Gallery has artworks, photographs, jewellery, hand made furniture and metalwork.
Pancake Tuesday
Traditional “Pancake Tuesday” is being celebrated at historic Millthorpe on Tuesday, February 13, with a pancake evening.
This free event is on at the St Marks Anglican’s Hall from 7pm behind the picturesque church; and everyone is invited!
Just bring yourself and your favourite savoury or sweet filling to share at this fun family feast.
Pancake or “Shrove” Tuesday (also variously called “Mardi Gras” and “Carnevale”), is a traditional celebration that marks the start of Lent in the Christian churches.
Communities would make pancakes with their left-over gourmet meats and sweets before the start of the six-week period of self-denial leading up to Easter.
Probus meeting
Blayney PROBUS Club commences 2018 with its meeting at 10 am on Thursday, February 15 at the Uniting Church Hall. Bring a friend to share fellowship.
Free HEAL documentary
HEAL Documentary screening will begin at 7.30pm this Friday February 9. Doors open at 6pm.
Gold Coin donation welcomed on arrival with all proceed going to the Blayney Farmers Market.
Lucky door prize will be drawn at the conclusion of the evening.
