After a break over the Christmas period, the 17 year old gets to do what she loves most, drive hard and fast.
Sarah spent the last two seasons in the junior division and this season has taken the step up in class where she is racing against other drivers that are much older and more experienced than herself.
Not only has she changed division but she has also changed vehicle, going from a front wheel drive, four cylinder Toyota Corolla into a rear wheel drive, V6 powered VX Commodore.
Sarah began racing in the VX in September, but has just revealed the new livery on the bright yellow duco.
In her first run with the car at Cullen Bullen in September, Sarah handled the feel of the new car well and came home with a first place.
In only her second race meeting in the new car, Sarah showed how quickly she is adapting to the Commodore with a strong showing at the Dubbo City Speedway where she finished with a second placing and 2 third placings.
Sarah says with the help from her family, who have the experience, it makes it easier to set up the car.
Sarah would also like to thank the following businesses for their continual support: Blayney Tyrepower, Newman’s Service Centre, AquaBuild Australia and Squire’s Signs, who help make it possible for her to do what she does.
So if you would like to see Sarah in action head on down to the Cullen Bullen Raceway this Saturday 20th, racing starts at 4pm.
