Grants coming from the Blayney Shire Council and the Royal Australian Historical Society have enabled the dedicated committee from the Golden Memories Museum and the Millthorpe Village Committee to complete a valuable resource featuring historic homes and their stories.
Chairman of the publishing committee, John Willing stated that the book features 84 homes with a selection of beautiful photos taken within the past year to match with a selection of older images.
“It is a great story of Millthorpe, the pioneers who built these homes and the present owners who maintain the legacy,” Mr Willing said.
To date many of the books are pre sold with the remaining books available through Jacoba Cottage at The Golden Memories Museum.
