Dr Harrison, her husband Marcin Teissegre and their daughter Luca have moved to Millthorpe in the last three weeks and have been busy finding their feet.
After completing her studies 10 year ago, Dr Harrison practised in Blackheath but has moved to Millthorpe to be closer to family.
Dr Harrison said her mum, dad and brother lived just outside the village.
“The plan is to have our little plot of land with a big veggie garden,” she said.
Dr Harrison has spent just a week at work, but was already noticed the Millthorpe community’s charm.
“Even though we’ve only been here a couple of weeks, I’ve noticed the community feel,” she said.
“Everyone’s been really welcoming. One of the lovely things about being a general practitioner is you can see the whole family.”
Dr Harrison is available at Millthorpe Medical Practice on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every second Saturday.
“I’d love to see some new faces.”
