After nearly a year of uncertainty about our future it’s great that we can all now fully concentrate on the many projects and plans we have underway throughout our shire.
While we were always going to be proactive and positive about our future if merged, we have learnt a lot during the fit for the future process and l thank our staff and community for their support and understanding through this time.
What we have done through this uncertain time is to continue to deliver projects, retain and increase staff numbers and progress plans for the future maintenance and growth of our shire.
Council has brought forward a major bridge replacement program and is in partnership with State and Federal governments to finish other major road works.
