Lhiam Burrell, Anthony Pond and Liam Henry along with the rest of their teammates are set to tackle three New Zealand teams over a whirlwind one week period from September 27.
When the concept was floated by organiser Trevor Fitzgerald and the Group 10 committee earlier in the year, the response was overwhelming resulting in 20 players, 10 touring members and an additional 40 odd family members planning to travel across the Tasman to watch the games throughout the week.
The touring party will be made up of the coach John Fearnley, manager Stuart Ward, trainers Adam Fearnley and Trevor Fitzgerald, Group 10 representative Angela Buckley and other support parents.
The boy's first game will be a real test coming up against the three time premiers in the Auckland competition, the Te Atatu Roosters on Sunday, September 28.
In the second game they face the Bay of Plenty in Rotorua, then travel back to play the Chevalier Pirates in Auckland.
The whirlwind tour also packs in plenty of site seeing and fun with Maori culture and food.
