The women - along with Cecily's daughter Kerryn Hughes - have created the Textures of One association to run the art show which will call for fine art, stitching, sculpture, glass, fabric, wool and other interpretations of their theme - with more details to be released in August.
Cecily said: "We hope Textures of One will become an annual event taking in a larger area every year, which in turn will boost the economy and tourism to the Blayney Shire and surrounding areas."
They began work on the project last November and recently have distributed their sponsorship booklet to secure funds to get the idea off the ground. For more information, visit their website, call 0459 579 810 or email texturesofone@hotmail.com
