The Tigers scored first but the Bears were not put on the back foot after a strong run saw Liam Henry score the first try of the day. After a successful conversion, the score was level.
Just before half time Liam Henry was outrunning the Tigers with a busting run of 80 meters to score his second of the day again the try was converted and the Bears were ahead 12-6.
After the break Liam Burrell, Louis Nixon and Dylan Marmion ran the ball up hard. Tackling machines Anthony Pond and Ryan Kelly were strong in defence.
With the pressure building in both teams it was the Tigers who managed a double and only converted one of the tries to go ahead 16-12.
With five minutes left on the clock the Bears pushed forward and after a couple of sets in the Tigers half, Dylan Marmion made a line break and the ball was sent wide, finishing with Louis Nixon who scored in the corner.
A successful conversion by Ryan Kelly sealed it for Blayney.
The Bears and the supporters were on there toes waiting for that fulltime siren to go and when it did it was deafening cheers.
