Just $900 is now needed to complete the project. Project committee member Dawn Mobbs said she was thrilled with the result and had received very positive reports on the event.
Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, listened and participated in carol singing and aptly answered all of the trivia questions posed by Master of Ceremonies, Chip Redhead.
The committee, along with Reverend Anastasia Webster-Hawes, would like to sincerely thank all those who helped with the event, the many people whose donations made the amount raised possible, and of course all the guests who attended.
As fundraising for the spire project commenced last November with a very successful Swoon Concert, the committee felt that it would be appropriate to conclude with another Swoon Concert, which will be held October 30 at St Paul’s Carcoar to hopefully finalise fundraising for the Spire repairs.
