Further nominations are required for the Blayney Pairs tournament to be held on January 13 and 14.
Nominations are down at the moment and the weekend faces cancellation if more teams do not come forward.
Local teams number very few so if you can organise a partner contact Barry or Jim.
This tournament is important on many fronts so please give it some thought.Also the Christmas ham tournament is on December 10.
The day will feature morning and afternoon competitions with hams as prizes for morning and afternoon competitions.Be there about 9am for an early start.
Plenty of room for more players.
A sheet is on the board calling for nominations for the Singles Championships.
At the moment the first round will be scheduled for January 20 with a pennant trial against Canowindra on January 21.
This date is subject to confirmation.
A list of players whom we expect will be playing pennants is currently on the board.
If you are not playing please cross your name off.
If you wish to to be considered as a reserve indicate next to your name.
Last Wednesday's games saw Bruce Gresser pair with Alan Byrnes to defeat Ray Donlan and Nev Kable 24-7.
Len McNally makes a habit of getting onto a winning side and joined with Rod Luck and Barry Seberry to defeat Peter Williams Rob Miskell and Peter Smith 27-23.
Hilton Henry Rob Thompson and Gordon Death recorded a 19-17 win over M Aroney Rex Nowland and Ray Neely.
Friday night saw a good turnout for the Movember appeal.
$280 was raised by these bowlers towards the men's health initiative.
Half a dozen juniors took to the green with Jimmy Ollie and Liam winning their game.
Kathy and Chloe were the winners of the lucky draw and took out the major prize with Luke, Ryan and David winning the ever popular bar vouchers as runners-up.
A decision has been made that junior bowlers must be accompanied by a playing parent.
Bowls are on again this Friday night commencing 5.30pm.
There will be no benefitting charity between now and Christmas however it will recommence in the new year.

Thursday Twilight Bowls results:John Oxman/Kevin O’Leary/ Eric Parker defeated Carly Williams/Cindy Williams/ Rob Parfettt 19/18.
John/Kevin and Eric stormed home to win the last two ends and snatch a win.
Friday Twilight Bowls results:Game 1 Paula Zitto/ Eric Parker defeated Cindy Williams/Carol Davis 20/7.
Paula and Eric began to draw ahead mid-way through the game winning the last five ends straight.
Game 2: Cheryl Lowe/Kevin O’Leary defeated Charlie Lane/Cindy Williams 24/4.
Cheryl and Kevin started to pull away after the 4th end winning the next eight ends to sew up the match.
Winners of the club vouchers with a plus 20 margin were Cheryl Lowe and Kevin O’Leary.
Game 3: Tri-Singles Myles Buesnel/Evvie Buesnel tied for 1st with Nate Buesnel coming a close second.
Good to have some juniors on the green.

Greg Meekin Memorial Pool Competition results: Tatts Wolves defeated Millthorpe Tigers 6/2.
The Tigers have put their cues away until next season and would like to wish the Wolves the best of luck in the final.

Ladies played the last game of the Winter Competition in quite warm conditions.
The Summer Competition will start after presentation and will be both 9 hole and 18 hole competitions.

NSW WARATAHS
The NSW Waratahs are training the house down and aiming high as they strive to bounce back from their worst season in a decade by winning the 2018 Super Rugby title. The Tahs endured a dismal 2017 campaign, finishing 16th in the old 18-team competition with just three wins from 15 matches.
But the 2014 champions do have history of swiftly turning around their fortunes and the return of midfield maestro Kurtley Beale from his stint in the English Premiership will help.
