Presented by the Blayney Community Baptist Church the carols draw one of the year’s biggest crowds.

Thank You to employers
Blayney High School is extending an invitation to all Blayney business owners and employers of Blayney high students to a special thank you breakfast / brunch on Tuesday, December 12.
To be held at Lil’ Nellies between 8.30am and 10.30am, careers adviser at the school Clint Giddings said that Blayney High staff will be attending to have a chat about ideas to promote community and school links.
“Feel free to stay for as long as you want or just order a takeaway,” he said.

Or which group, volunteer or event deserves recognition?
If you have someone in mind, you have up until December the 8th to get your nominations in to Blayney Shire Council.
Members of the Blayney Shire community are invited to nominate persons whom they consider worthy of a 2018 Australia Day Award.
There will be five categories which include: Citizen of the year Award, Young Citizen of the year Award, Community Event of the Year Award, Volunteer of the Year Award, Appreciation Award.
Nominations must be submitted to Council on the prescribed nomination form available from Council's office or on Council's website by 4.30 pm on Friday 8 December 2017.
