This year’s Remembrance Day book was presented to Trunkey Creek Public School captains Alycia and Toby by Inner Wheel member Decima Cone.
Decima presented a copy of The Red Poppy by David Hill and the book will be placed in the Trunkey Creek school library for all the children to read and enjoy.
Principal Sharyn Cogdell thanked both Decima and President Patti Crofts who accompanied Decima to Trunkey.
This week Club members enjoyed a Christmas lunch at Nellie Ryan’s, with a sumptuous meal provided by Ryan Hopkins and his staff.
Gerry Faulkner entertained us with tales of an Irish Christmas and a Christmas Bowl collection is to be donated to the Palliative Care Unit towards the purchase of an Accuvein machine.
Inner Wheel will now be in recess until their February meeting.
