Champion pen of prime lambs was won by Michael Molloy from Gallymont.
It was a very excited Eva Harris from Burnt Yards that won the Champion fleece was secured by Eva Harris from Burnt Yards.
Most successful exhibition in home products was Cass Mendham while her son Lachie took out the blokes cake and Gemma Green the feature cake.
The Bill Baker Memorial Trophy for the novice working dog went to Tim Ray’s dog “Will.”
Overall champion photograph was taken by the talented Dawn Williams of Carcoar.
Champ craft article by an adult was won by Rachel Meek, the junior section was won by Lane Thompson.
Champion rose of the show was secured by Joanna Tait with her yellow rose.
To bring some excitement for the kids, secretary of the show Sally Green said that the new attractions were a hit.
“A new innovation was the hiring of some new activities for the children from “Jump” in Orange,” she said. “It was very popular.”
Champion led horse and winner of the RC Hopkins trophy was Akehurst and Patterson’s “Baring Court Javarli”
Champion ridden horse was Sell Walton and Batnich’s “Cooramin Winter Fell Hip” and it gained them the John Harries Memorial Trophy.
Champ whip crack went to Tom Richardson in the senior division, Dave King intermediate and Toby McRae won junior.
John Burke closest guess of the height of the finial on top of the Digger Bright Pavilion with 8.15m when it was 8.123m.
Lorraine Furner was the best local wool handler and best shearer of the day was Andrew Holgate.
Show Patron Ben Lowe attended along with Paul Tool MP and Andrew Gee MP and Air Force Cadets from Orange and Blayney’s Can Assist volunteers manned the gates.
