He is currently making a good recovery from recent surgery.
Frank is a descendant of one of the pioneering families of Blayney, some of whom still live and work in the district.
His grandfather Thomas Dwyer, who was then living in Ireland, was sponsored by his brother James and arrived in Australia in 1863.
In 1863 at the Carcoar Lands Office, Thomas placed a deposit on 60 acres of land that he later called “Shamrock Hill” which is now part of the farm owned by his brother Kevin Dwyer.
Frank still lives and runs this farm today where he is very proud of his lifetime of achievements and loves all the modern methods, ideas and equipment now used in farming.
