She always found time for her grandchildren, teaching them cooking, basic sewing and to play on the piano and organ. In 1994 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. After several months in Sydney receiving treatment, she returned home, regained her strength and went on living life to the fullest.
Five years ago the battle began again and she gave her best, but this was one battle she was unable to overcome. The family would like t thank those who have called with support, visited, cooked food and have helped them during her care at home in the past weeks.
Thank you to the wonderful people in Orange Palliative Care, Occupational Therapy, Hemcare and Community Nurses.
