Selected as a finalist by the judging panel through a rigorous reviewing process of hundreds of entries received from every state and territory, the panel determined that the Blayney Hay Bale Art Challenge was a stand-out, and a hot contender in this year’s Australian Event Awards.
The Blayney Hay Bale Art Challenge is also nominated for Australia’s Favourite Event, and everyone is encouraged to log onto eventawards.com.au and cast their vote.

Scott Ferguson said that the event symbolises the true meaning of community.
“It’s where the power of connection, a spirit of adventure, relationship building and working collaboratively has delivered significant benefits to the area through visitation, economic growth and development to our small, rural area,” he said.
Event Organiser, Melanie Monico said that it was truly a great honour to be recognised as a national finalist.
“This accolade showcases the dedication, passion and commitment of a small group of locals with a shared vision.”
