The pair will be joining hundreds of firefighters from around the world in completing the Fire Fighters Climb for Motor Neurone Disease MND.
This challenge involves Adam and James climbing all 98 storeys of the Sydney Tower in full firefighting gear, that weighs up to 20kgs. and the lack of tower blocks in the central west is proving to be an issue.
“They have a stair climbing machine now at CentrePoint that I’m training on currently,” James said. “Complete with a 20 kilogram training vest.”
Fund raising is the main game and the pair are looking at raising $2,000 for MND research.
The climb isn’t until the 14th of October, giving themselves plenty of time to complete the fundraising that includes regular raffles and a go fund raise page.
