Most prized of all were his two bikes.
“They took a yellow Yamaha Peewee 50 that I’ve had since I was six or seven and they’re pretty rare, and a black Pit Pro 150cc,” he said.
“There is a lot of sentimentality surrounding that Peewee bike.”
The theft comes on the back of last week’s car theft and subsequent burn out on the Neville Road.
Mr Burns said that a I kva Honda generator had been stolen as well as a selection of tools, a swag and some fishing rods.
Neighbours said that they heard the sound of the bikes at around 11pm on Monday night and also reported that they heard someone later on that evening.
“I think that they came back more than once and had a good look around,” he said.
“We all work hard for what we have, and then they just do this.”
Mr Burns has now installed an alarm system.
