It was a really great effort and Blayney Can Assist Committee would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped to make the day a success.
Elizabeth Tooke was the winner of the raffle.
The next monthly meeting will be held in the “Cadia” room on Tuesday 11th July at 7pm.
Trunkey Creek Show Dates
Like many of the small shows the Trunkey Creek show was cancelled last year because of the wet conditions, but this year we’re seeing a complete opposite and the organisers are thrilled to announce that the show will be held on Saturday the 14th of October.
The show incorporates the wool and horse festival so both the Australian Champion Fleece and the Royal Performance Horses will be a feature.
Op Shop Ball
This Saturday night the Blayney Golf Club will be a sea of the beautifully clad with gender-bending and the just purely hideous being a major part of the attraction.
The club’s promotions officer, Wayne Fenwick, said that the outfits are only a part of what’s going to be a great night with live music and prizes.
“Come out and support the Blayney Golf Club and at the same time help out our volunteer run op shops in town,” he said.
“There’ll be prizes for the best vintage dress and cross dress outfit as well as great food, great music and lots of laughs.”
Contact Scott Oborn on 0402 537 218 or Mick Miskell on 0418 401 814 for more details and book your seat on the bus.
Coffee with a Cop
