The group is held every Tuesday from 10am to noon and organiser Kristie Whittaker said that the hall was now nice and warm and dry.
“We want to give a big thanks to council for organising the renovations to the hall because we now have a wonderful space for the kids to play during winter,” she said.
The first two visits to playgroup are free and parents or carers with a child under 12 months are free.
Membership for 12 months is only $39 for an entire family and any other children that come along with a carer.
Coffee and tea is provided and visitors are asked to bring a piece of fruit for the shared platter.
