Cannabis arrest
A 45-year-old Blayney man was arrested and charged with cultivation of cannabis. At about 4.10pm on April 11 police attended a location in Blayney and observed several plants growing in the yard. The man will appear in Blayney Local Court at a later date.

Orange to Blayney Chase
Police from Canobolas Local Area Command (LAC) pursued a dark blue ute from Orange to Blayney on Monday night.
LAC duty officer Inspector Dave Harvey said observed a dark blue ute on Bathurst Road at 11pm and wanted to speak to the driver about a traffic incident.
“The driver sped away from police and later highway patrol engaged in a police pursuit of the vehicle,” Inspector Harvey said.
The ute lead police through Lucknow, Millthorpe before stopping on Cooper Street in Blayney.
Inspector Harvey said the occupants left the ute and ran away with officers losing sight of them during a foot chase.
He said the incident was under investigation and encouraged anyone with information which could identify the ute’s occupants to contact Orange police on 6363 6399 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Scam Alert
The details of a debit card have been used by unknown offenders to purchase items online. The victim noticed all these strange transactions on her card and made enquiries with her bank. The purchases were made overseas.The card details were immediately blocked by the bank.
