The freshly opened Redmond Oval in Millthorpe will get its first taste as a rugby oval this Saturday when the Mozzie Barbarians, consisting of ex Rams players and the fathers of Mozzie players, take on the Blayney Rams rugby side.

President of the Mozzies Junior Rugby Club, Tim Jamieson, said that they were looking forward to giving the freshly created ground a run, and to raise some funds for the club.
“The ground will be open at 2pm and we’ll have the canteen open, we’ll have a bar and there will be a raffle for a holiday up for grabs,” he said.
The game kicks off at 3:15 pm and after all players and supporters are invited to the Railway Hotel Millthorpe.
