Using the fullness of the car park as a gauge for the show’s popularity, show secretary Helen Burton said that the crowds were certainly up on last year.
“There was a lot of people around that came for things like the pet show and we had the dog jump right in front of the pavilion and that was very popular,” Mrs Burton said.
Michaela Collins was named as the Blayney Showgirl for 2017, a Belgium D’uccle was the supreme livestock exhibition and a painting of a blue, tactile lizard was awarded the supreme exhibit.
Mrs Burton also thanked Blayney Council for upgrading the kitchen at the showground.
