Both outfits went through the tournament unbeaten to produce the quinella.
The former side's namesake passed away little more than a week after last year's tournament, which he was named MVP of after helping Aidan Brice All Stars to the title, and the unit was formed in his memory.
The majority of the Terry Brown Memorial side had turned out for the Jack Blunt Legends in previous seasons, as Brown had when he inspired the side to the 2015 title.
Both sides took to the field in identical jerseys and pledged to play in honour of Brown and Blunt.
The two outfits remained unbeaten until the final where they decided prior to the game to split the winnings before taking the field for a friendly.
“It means a lot for all of us. There was a lot of Terry's best mates here along with the family, so we did it for him,” Terry’s older brother Bobbie Brown said.
“Everyone here, us and the JBL boys, are all extremely proud of each other. What a result for both the sides, what a way to finish a great day.”
Both sides had to produce miraculous comebacks in their respective semi-finals.
Playing the tournament surprise packets in Blayney, Terry Brown Memorial trailed the Rams 14-5 with less than five minutes left on the clock.
Mitch Hurford scored beside the sticks but missed the drop-kicked conversion to make it 14-10 before, with the second last play of the game, Taylor Smith scooted outside his Blayney counterpart before scoring the most acrobatic of tries in the left-hand corner.
On the main field, Jack Blunt Legends' situation was similar. They trailed Newcastle Wanderers by 10 points with just five minutes remaining.
Up until that point, JBL never looked like winning, before Logan Brockmann crossed and converted to bring the gap to three and Mick Cooper sealed the win with a try in the corner.
Westruss Jordan's Tens won the Plate title.
The side edged past Aidan Brice All Stars in the semi-final before taking down Red Dog Rugby in the final.
"It may not have been the top division, but it's great to have won the Plate in the first year the side's been together," Jordan's Tens ace Scott Udy said.
"Being able to play in this kind of side in such a good tournament is great and to be able to get the win and knock off some pretty good sides as well is a bonus. It's a great way to finish the competition, a great way to honour Jordan (Cheney, the side's namesake)."
